Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

We provide a software-as-a-service platform. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Payment and Billing

Paid features are billed in advance for the selected billing period. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with VideoToNotes. The following refund terms apply to all purchases made through our platform.

Eligibility

• One-time credit packs: If you have used fewer than 10 credits from the pack and request a refund within 14 days of purchase, you are eligible for a full refund.
• Monthly subscriptions: You may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial subscription charge, provided that fewer than 20% of the included credits have been consumed. Renewal charges for subsequent billing cycles are non-refundable once the new cycle's credits have been granted.
• Annual subscriptions: You may request a prorated refund within 14 days of the initial charge, provided that fewer than 20% of the included credits have been consumed. The refund amount will be reduced proportionally based on credits already used.

How to Request a Refund

1. Email support@videotonotes.dev with the subject line "Refund Request."
2. Include your account email, order number (if available), and a brief reason for the request.
3. Our team will respond within 3 business days with a decision.

Processing Time

• Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days back to the original payment method.
• Depending on your bank or payment provider, the refunded amount may take additional time to appear on your statement.

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:

• The credit allowance for the current billing period has been more than 20% consumed (for subscriptions) or more than 10 credits used (for credit packs).
• The refund request is made after the eligibility window has passed.
• The account has been terminated due to a violation of these Terms of Service.
• Credits were consumed through processing of videos or audio that you uploaded or submitted for transcription.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at support@videotonotes.dev before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We will work to resolve the issue promptly. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension.

Subscription Cancellation

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal charges but does not automatically trigger a refund. Cancel at any time from Settings > Billing. Your credits remain available until the end of the current billing period.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
